Massage can relieve pain, relax muscles and improve blood circulation, lymphatic circulation and metabolism. Massage removes muscle stiffness caused by static work and speeds up muscle recovery from strain. Massage helps e.g. for muscle tension, stiffness, acute and chronic pain, muscle headache, body and mind relaxation, stress, muscle care and recovery from injuries.
Massaging the masticatory system relaxes and improves the blood circulation of the relevant muscles to improve the function and health of the system. Disorders of the teeth, jawbone/joint, neck, facial muscles, nerves and auxiliary respiratory muscles can cause the following symptoms: teeth grinding at night, aches and pains in the head/ shoulders/face, ear pain, tinnitus, discomfort in the superficial muscles of the neck and chest, dizziness and balance difficulties, jaw joint clicking, jaw joint and masticator pain, difficulty swallowing, feeling of a “lump in the throat”, tooth sensitivity and wear and tear of the teeth and cracked fillings.
Massage can help relieve stress, reduce pain and improve the mobility of the jaw joint. It can also help prevent tooth wear and other bite problems. Massage of the masticatory muscles can last 60 or 90 minutes and can be performed once or more a week. During the massage, the muscles of the chest, neck and neck-shoulder regions are massaged and the area of the jaw joint and biting muscles are treated both internally (inside the mouth) and externally. In the longer 90 min treatment, the muscles connected to the masticatory system are treated more extensively.
In the treatment method based on old Finnish traditional culture, the whole body is treated and balanced with gentle muscle treatment and joint mobilization. Mobilization utilizes the individual’s natural movement trajectories and does not exceed the movement trajectories of the joints or produce pain.
The body is an anatomical entity from head to toes and should be in balance. For tightness and wrong postures, even chronic ones, due to imbalance, you can find help in traditional mobilising massage. At the beginning of the treatment, the balance of the body is examined and the whole body is treated, starting from the feet. After traditional mobilising massage, heavy physical exertion must be avoided for 3 days.

Auvo Brain Relief® is a treatment form developed in Finland as first aid for a stressed body and mind. In the treatment, the body's own neurotransmitters and the parasympathetic nervous system are activated. The treatment improves the body's oxygen supply and effectively activates nerve pathways in the hands, feet and head area.
During the treatment, the neck and shoulder area, head, face, hands and feet are treated with slow and gentle strokes, which, together with carefully selected music, takes you to a deep and wonderfully relaxed state. The central goal of the treatment is deep relaxation. Thanks to deep relaxation, relief has been obtained e.g. to stress, difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep, migraine, many types of pain conditions, hyperactivity, restless legs syndrome and public speaking anxiety. Increased clarity of thoughts has also been experienced.
The actual treatment takes about 50 minutes + 10 min preparation time with the customer. During the treatment, you lie on your back on the treatment table throughout the treatment. Suitable clothes are loose casual wear e.g. t-shirt or light long sleeve shirt, light trousers/college trousers etc. and thin socks. Jewellery, watches, and large earrings should be removed before the treatment, and hair should be loose.
